As aggravating as a toddler can be, the humor that our little one brings to us daily is definitely worth every tantrum.
This morning Travis and I enjoyed a wonderful morning sleeping in. How did we manage this you ask? We asked ourselves the same question at around 8:20 this morning. We both woke up around the same time, and Travis asks me if Taten had come in to wake us up? No, but I think I hear her. I get out of bed, and peek around the corner to her room. No Taten. We are both up at this point, and walk out to the living room. She is busily setting up her tea party for her My Little Ponies (morning ritual). "Good Morning Taten!" "I playing tea party with my Ponies." she says. Now, if only we could get her to make coffee!
Later in the afternoon, she precedes to lock herself in her room! Thankfully you just have to put the screwdriver in the doorknob, and turn. She's in her room yelling, "Help, help Daddy!" Travis unlocks the door..."I saved" she says. She comes running into the kitchen, "I home Mommy!" It's never dull for very long at our house!

Aloha

Aloha Everyone,
We decided this is probably the easiest way for all of you to check in with us...instead of groaning every time you get yet another picture of Taten. Don't worry Grandma's, we will still send you pictures. Also, with Tessa on the way our time will definitely get more limited! It's also a great way for us to share our anecdotes about island life, or to brag about our kids:)
We don't have any new news, we are kind of in a holding pattern waiting for our newest family member. We will keep you all posted on the rolling alien in my belly. If she's not out by the 4th of July I'm going to start running the beach twice a day! We hope this blog will bring you many laughs from our crazy life, and a bright spot in your day.
Love,
Heather, Travis, Taten, and coming soon - Tessa
