"Pumpkin Patch"

As you will notice from the pictures, it is not a pumpkin patch as you know it. We are so going to a real pumpkin patch next Fall. I'm talking full on farmer's market, pony rides, hay rides. You name it we're doing it next Fall. Needless to say this Fall we were stuck with the Hawiian pumpkin patch ie. a field of red dirt in the blazing hot sun. Top it off with a crying baby that I'm trying to keep out of the sun, and it was fun, fun, fun. Taten actually was having a great time this year running up and down the rows while I worried that she would cross paths with a giant centipede!

The Mom's Club Halloween party was a hit though. Once Taten warmed up to all the people she didn't want to leave:) And Tessa slept almost the whole morning. Good girl. Enjoy the pics of my Little Angel and Devil. I thought the irony was funny.

Race for the Cure

Aloha,

First of all I would like to thank Mom, Aunt Kate, Christine, and Joann for donating to our team. We raised the "suggested" amount for the race, and I really appreciate your support. My early risers did very well. And yes, even Daddy went this year! Not surprisingly Taten didn't fall back asleep so it may be a long day! We are going to a John Cruz concert later this afternoon to dance out the rest of Taten's energy. Enjoy the pictures.

3 Months!

Wow, we can hardly believe that 3 months has passed already. It seems like Tessa is doing everything so much earlier than Taten too. It helps to have a big sister who is always talking and moving. Taten and Tessa have their own little conversations, there is no quiet in our house anymore:) Tessa is none stop baby talk, and lets us know she's there.

We had one of those great parent moments today with the girls. We put Tessa in the tub with Taten and her bubble bath. Taten kept taking handfuls of bubbles and putting them on Tessa's head. It was so cute. Even cuter when Tessa had her first real belly laugh. She tilted her head back and just let loose with this great big laugh. Until now it had just been little giggles. I can only imagine what it'll be like with the girls 3 more months from now. Unfortunatly the battery in the video camera was dead:( Must remember to have all batteries fully charged from now on.

She also almost rolled from back to belly today too! She can already to belly to back. And is holding her rattle. I know it's alot of Tessa news, but I'm just amazed! I am such a lucky Mom.

My Girls

Hello Everyone,

Everyday is an adventure, some are more funny than others... Last night being one of the funny ones.

We were all snuggled up together watching Sleeping Beauty. I asked Travis if he ever thought this would be his life? Watching princess movies with his girls:) So after the movie Travis picks Taten up and starts waltzing around the house with her. She's having a great time, and Travis says he needs a time out. Sets Taten down, and she goes over to the wall and sits in her timeout spot! We started cracking up. Either I've done well, or she is spending to much time in timeout. I informed Travis that he needed to use the term "Take a break" next time:) See you all soon... 2 months and 4 days left on the island.

Lil' Pudge

Hi Everyone,

Well, Tessa has her nickname. I'm sure she will really appreciate it as a teenager, but it's cute and fitting now. We always talk to her about how chubby and pudgy she is, she's two pounds more than Taten was at this time. So the other day Tessa was laying on the couch, and Taten and I were talking to her. Taten says, "Your're so cute lil' pudge"! Sorry Tessa!

Anyway, we are doing great and hope you are all doing well.
